Lider Zachodniopomorski<\/em> (Leader of West Pomerania) is an original educational project created for the youth of Westpomeranian Region. The main aim of the project is to shape leadership, social and civil competencies of young people, especially those from the smaller towns and rural areas of the region. The project is for those who show active involvement in the life of their local community \u2013 class, school, youth council, city… The participants will receive substantive support in the form of weekly workshops and meetings with experts. With the help of their coach, they will implement mini-projects in their communities.<\/p>\n The project is addressed to youth 17-26 years of age, with focus on people from smaller towns. The main aims of the projects are: development of leadership competencies, promoting active citizenship and social activity among youth and supporting active people from smaller towns. The project is beneficial; it empowers young leaders, who, by making use of the gained knowledge, work to aid their local communities. Up to date, the project already has had four editions.
